When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it securely.

11. Manra Tiffins Driver App Privacy Notice

The Manra Tiffins Driver app is used by authorized drivers to manage and complete assigned deliveries.

11.1 Driver and Delivery Information

The Driver app processes driver account details, authentication sessions, assigned delivery details, customer names, addresses and phone numbers, delivery instructions, delivery-status updates, cash collection records, notes, and proof-of-delivery photos or videos.

11.2 Location Information

The Driver app uses precise and approximate device location to display the driver's position, support delivery navigation, and detect arrival near a customer's location.

During an active navigation session, location may continue to be accessed while the app is running in the background or while another application, such as Google Maps, is displayed. On Android, the app displays an ongoing notification during active navigation.

Arrival detection is performed on the driver's device. The Driver app does not upload the driver's GPS coordinates, heading, or location history to the Manra Tiffins driver API.

When a driver uses navigation, maps, or address lookup, Google or Apple mapping services may receive map requests, customer destination coordinates, or addresses in accordance with their respective privacy policies.

Navigation is optional, and drivers can complete deliveries manually. Drivers may disable location access through device settings; however, map positioning and automatic arrival detection will no longer function.

11.3 Camera, Microphone, and Photos

The Driver app uses the camera, microphone, or system photo picker only when a driver captures or selects a photo or video as proof of delivery.

11.4 Information Stored on the Device

The Driver app stores authentication sessions, preferences, route and delivery-history caches, offline actions, image caches, and pending proof files on the device.

Logging out removes the authentication session and cached driver profile, but it does not automatically remove all route, delivery-history, image, or offline-action caches. These items may remain until they are overwritten, cleared through device settings, or removed by uninstalling the app.

Offline proof files stored in the app's designated offline-proof folder are deleted after the server confirms a successful upload. Server-side delivery records and uploaded proof files are retained as reasonably necessary for delivery operations, accounting, dispute resolution, security, and legal obligations.

11.5 Driver App Data Sharing

Delivery actions and proof files are transmitted securely to Manra Tiffins systems. Information required to provide app features may also be processed by mapping, hosting, and technology service providers.

We do not sell driver location or personal information, and the Driver app does not use this information for advertising.

11.6 Driver Permissions and Choices

Drivers can manage location, camera, microphone, photo, and notification permissions through device settings. Restricting a permission may prevent the related app feature from functioning.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, data practices, or legal obligations. When we make changes, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
